This Advent we will bask in the season of waiting by highlighting our belief in God’s purposes for the salvation of humankind. The season of waiting is one of expectation, and the satisfaction that God will deliver on his promises. Each week we will explore the reason for our staunch belief and confidence in the work of God in our world.

    The arrival of the Messiah signaled a shift from misfortune to opportunity. The history of God’s people is one full of mishaps and missed opportunities. The coming of the Messiah was promised and forecasted to be the ushering in of a new way of life where all of life is brought into brighter view. Thus, all of life is now lived in this new Hope.
