The overwhelming evidence declares that Jesus Christ is the most influential figure who has ever walked this planet. Billions and billions of individuals have heard of him. His influence on the world can be seen in the billions who claim to follow him and demonstrated in the efforts that has led to the creation of hospitals, orphanages, charities and other entities established for good. We conclude Advent season by exploring this unmatched Influence.

God loves people. And while people have been corrupted, compromised and contentious, God longs to save them from their sins and themselves. This is the Love story that is ultimately revealed and sealed in the mission of the Messiah. On this fourth Sunday of Advent, we savor God’s love and highlight how our belief in God is fueled by God’s love.

This is a season that is destined to be the source of Joy. Yet we must contend with the cares of this life that is flooded with disappointment. We believe we are able to manage disappointment because the Messiah brought a joy saturated experience and has made it available to all his followers.

We continue to invent ways and systems that seem more likely to divide rather than unite. The Messiah came to lead a Shalom (Peace) revolution. Peace with God and peace with one another would be a high priority for the prevailing Kingdom of God on earth. We explore how the Messiah has brokered peace in our lives.

The arrival of the Messiah signaled a shift from misfortune to opportunity. The history of God’s people is one full of mishaps and missed opportunities. The coming of the Messiah was promised and forecasted to be the ushering in of a new way of life where all of life is brought into brighter view. Thus, all of life is now lived in this new Hope.
