Journey
Setting Our Faces Toward Jesus
Lent is a season of repentance, self-reflection, and renewal. Starting on Ash Wednesday, the church is encouraged to proclaim a fast lasting 40 days (excluding Sundays). As we fast, we will consider the “Travel Narratives” in the gospel of Luke. Jesus “sets his eyes toward Jerusalem”. During his journey, Luke records some of his most impactful teaching and some intriguing encounters. As we reflect on his journey, we consider our own spiritual journey in our corner of the earth.
