Taking Captive Every Thought
Paul, writing to the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians indicates that there is trouble and turmoil in that church’s relationship with Paul. While he addresses some specifics, the overarching theme he suggests centers on heart change. In 2 Corinthians 10, among other words, Paul deploys a phrase worthy of inspection. He wrote, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” What if we took every thought captive and made them obedient to Christ? How do we do that? This series will explore those questions by offering a set of “Habits” that will move us to make every thought and action obedient to Christ.
