Out of the Water

Scripture consistently describes baptism as a moment of death and resurrection. Going under the water symbolizes the end of an old way of life, while rising up represents new life in Christ. In this sermon, we will reflect on what it means to leave behind patterns shaped by sin, fear, and self-centeredness, and to embrace a life shaped by grace, freedom, and transformation. Baptism does not erase struggle, but it redefines who we are and how we live. Being raised from the water is a call to walk in newness of life, empowered by God's Spirit and sustained by hope.
