The triumphal entry is a perplexing text, particularly in the way we treat it today. It appears t be this joyous occasion and a fulfilment of scripture. But in all the jubilation, there hides a haunting truth. The same people shouting Hosanna would be the same ones shouting crucify him! How do we dismantle our misconceptions about Jesus as the Christ?
