Jesus' journey to Jerusalem was a painful one as he had to deal with the reality of human brokenness and sin. Throughout his journey, he remarked about the need for heart change through repentance. On his journey, he encountered a tax collector, who demonstrated that repentance is more than a mental assent. It includes faithful activity.
