Supposing him to be a gardener, Mary expressed her anxiety regarding the missing body of Jesus. It would later be revealed that Jesus arose from the grave and would initiate a new season where Hope will spring up and be the dominant narrative forevermore. Today, we celebrate the risen Lord and sway of hope in this world!

Once again, we consider the Resurrection story included in the Gospel of Mark.  It ends abruptly leaving the reader in suspended intrigue.  What does it mean?  How are we to approach the Resurrection Story and its seeming lack of answers after living a year in a pandemic in search for cures, remedies, answers and relief?  When Jesus isn’t where you expect him, what do you do next?

Look backwards with fondness and nostalgia, but never forget to look forward with courage and anticipation.

Thrive wherever God leads you. Bless those around you, and he will bless you, too.
