The Didasko Children’s Home is a home for orphaned, abused, abandoned and extremely poor children whose parents can’t take care of them. It is located 20 miles outside the capital city of Tegucigalpa. It is led by Hondurans Jorge and Rosa Castillo and their daughter Michelle Castillo who are devout Christians and provide love and Christian teaching to the children daily. They also have a Christian on-site school up to 9th grade, which also serves other local youths. In 2017 and 2018 many of the teens assisted discipleship classes at the local church and several were baptized into Jesus. They have between 30 and 35 children, currently between the ages of 4 and 20. Didasko receives no funding from the Government of Honduras and has only a small population of US churches providing support. Therefore, individual members of RCC provide monthly support for the operations of Didasko. Can you be part of helping these young people receive love, education, and the chance to know Jesus?
