Built to Serve

Spiritual leadership exists to equip God’s people for works of service and for maturity in Christ. Paul describes leaders not as those who dominate the church, but as those who prepare and release the whole church for ministry. The work of the gospel belongs to every believer, and leaders are given so that the body can grow into fullness and unity. In this message, we will consider how healthy leadership shepherds a congregation toward maturity, so that the body builds itself up in love and each part grows into who God has called it to be.
