Come learn what the apostle Peter had to say to the early church about suffering, humility and Judgment Day, among other subjects. (For the first class, read I Peter and try to determine when and where it was written and for what purpose.)
Greek Discussion class

Teacher - Gloria Hardy

Location - Upstairs classroom
Selected scriptures will be viewed through the lens of the Greek Text and Ancient Christian Commentary from the 2nd - 5th century A.D. No knowledge of Greek is needed to enjoy these discussions. There is room in the classroom for approx. 6-8 more people. See Gloria for more information.

This quarter the Greek class will be introduced to the Greek verbal system, including infinitives and participles, and will continue to build vocabulary.

Location - Fellowship Hall
This class will focus on Max Lucado?s new book, 3:16, The Numbers of Hope. Class discussion will center on a word-by-word study of John 3:16, the passage that Lucado calls the "Hope Diamond" of scripture.
