A Bigger Table: Sharing and The Community of God

A Bigger Table

Sharing and The Community of God

Series start date: January 7th, 2018

In this series, we will explore why sharing is the natural expression of God’s community. The blessings that God has shared with his people are abundant and overflowing. Being a part of the community of God requires the embodiment of a sharing heart and spirit. This series was inspired by an unattributed quote, “When you have more than you need, build a longer table not a higher fence.” This quote seems to capture the heart of God and the heart of the Community of God. Our desire to grow as a church must be fueled by our commitment to share.

    Preaching

Starting with a description of God’s character, we will launch into this series by making the case that it is of paramount importance to believe, embrace and embody God’s character first. When we live into God’s character, the natural outflow should be the sharing of God’s character, particularly His grace.
